Never Compare Yourself When You Are Vegging In Front Of The Computer!!

Tell me if this sounds familiar....

So you're sitting in front of the computer in your PJ's disheveled hair and like you still look like you just woke up because you haven't had to get ready to go out. You have nothing planned so far so you go to your computer and check out some YouTube videos and blogs.

You watch a video of some makeup guru who is sooo damn pretty, then you go to some girls blog who looks amazing and then stumble onto some ulzzangs who look 100% perfect.

You look in the mirror and feel so insecure and shit about yourself, why can't I compare to these girls? 

They are so pretty!!

We've all done this - but its so stupid because you're really just comparing an apple to an orange. How you expect for you to look like someone that has just undergone an hour of hair makeup + lighting + photoshop by rolling out of bed! NEVERRRRRR

We all do it though, and it just creates feelings of isecurity, shitness and jealousy. BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD. but you know what, I do it ALL the time.

When we all spend an hour on hair and makeup and find the best angle to pose in (usually 45 degrees above your head) and make our pouty face to make our face skinnier, you must admit you feel pretty damn good, and so proud that you might post it up on your instagram. and YES these are the perfectly prepped photos you normally see and are comparing your roll out of bed self to.

SO WHY DON'T WE COMPARE OURSELVES TO THIS CONFIDENT FEELING GIRL??

We don't, we're too busy on our way out to see our friends we don't have time to feel ugly. But when we are bored and can't be bothered getting ready, we do.

Seems like we are just TRYING to make ourselves feel bad right??

When I spend a lot of time at home like a lazy slob, eating and watching TV shows, mainly when I'm sick too, I don't look crash hot, and this is usually the time I get bored and look up heapsa pretty girls and I feel damn ugly..... but the next time I get ready to go out and put on makeup wear my best clothes and do my hair, suddenly guess what??

I actually feeel PRETTY :)!! 

So girls, remember to never to compare yourself when you are a computer slob...It does nothing for your sanity.
