10 Asian Diet Secrets!!
Hey guys, here is the next part of my diet series :)!!
I've always been fascinated by asian food. I love it so much!! I actually hardly ever eat non asian food, I enjoy all asian cuisines from Japanese, Korean to Viet and Malaysian to good old Chinese food.
My favorite though has to go to be Korean food, because not only is it tasty, it's healthy and Korean people put so much passion into their food that it's hard to enjoy it.
The bonus really on top of tasting good, it is damn healthy and traditional asian diets are actually made up mainly of vegetables and rice and noodles, and portion sizes are generally smaller because the majority of the population actually was quite poor and food was scarce.
Actually all the food was rationed and the asian families were only allowed like one egg per month for each family and a limited portion of rice, and a very small amount of meat. So they learnt to eat smaller portions and rely a lot of veggies and produce they can grow.
Food was cooked simply, and it was actually quite healthy. Despite people thinking Chinese food being unhealthy, I feel that westernised Chinese food is particularly unhealthy, but traditional home cooked food is very healthy and slimming and is quite veggie based.
